Bandwith
To message without restrictions, your number has to become Toll Free Verified. To do this, we submit paperwork to the company, Bandwith, who verifies numbers. Verification takes between 4-6 weeks and during the application process you are put into a pending status. Effective April 1, 2023, the industry's toll-free aggregator implemented new limits to messaging traffic for restricted and pending toll-free numbers. Messaging that exceeds a limit will return Error Codes. Once the number is verified, you will no longer have to worry about the limits.

Twilio
Twilio offers a platform for global SMS communication, but users must adhere to its Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Terms of Service (ToS). Violations may lead to project suspension or closure. The AUP prohibits unsolicited messages, mass marketing on long codes, harassing or abusive messages, use for emergency services, fraud, phishing, identity misrepresentation, and sending explicit images. Users are responsible for compliance, and Twilio actively monitors and may take action against violators. These guidelines complement the General Terms & Conditions and the full ToS.

10DLC
We’ve created a simple way for you to submit the business registration information U.S. mobile carriers now require for 10DLC numbers (local landline or VoIP numbers).
Please follow the steps below to register. It’s important that you take action to avoid potential 10DLC fees and future disruption of service.
1. Log into the Zipwhip Admin Console by clicking here (http://goto.zipwhip.com/a0000p0dNH0c00fDEWsE4x3)
2. Click on ‘Register Now’ under the ‘10DLC Registration’ tab
3. Enter your business information in the required fields*
4. Click ‘Submit’
5. The form will read “Registration Submitted”
*If you’re unable to complete all the required fields at once, simply select “Save” instead of “Submit” at the bottom of the form and the Status at the top of the form will read “INCOMPLETE” until you’ve finished the registration.
That’s all you need to do! We’ll take care of the rest.
Important:
* Each business with a unique tax identification number only needs to register once, regardless of the number of lines on that account. If your business has multiple admins on your Zipwhip account, only one admin will need to register.
* All businesses with a 10DLC number need to register. This includes Sole Proprietors, Franchises and businesses registered in Canada sending messages to U.S. customers.
