In Connect, SMS messages are categorized as either Promotional and Non-promotional.
Promotional messages, sometimes referred to as Marketing messages, are intended to promote your organization. Examples of Promotional messages are discounts, coupons, and special offers.
Non-promotional messages include appointment reminders, waitlist updates, and schedule changes.
Follow these steps to view a member's communication preferences:
1. In your menu, select Clients & Prospects.
2. Find your client by using the search bar.
3. Click the Settings button on the right.
4. The pop-up will show which type(s) of messages can be sent to this particular client.
