This article will guide you through the steps on how to set a Waitlist, Class Reminders, and/or Service Reminders be automatically sent to your clients.
Please Note:
- If you utilize waitlist templates/notifications within Connect;
- The rule is, if enabled, when a customer comes off the waitlist (automatically or manually) the defaulted waitlist message will be sent out.
- The exception is, if a customer is moved into class (automatically or manually) 30 minutes prior to class start time a waitlist message will not be sent out.
1. Locate Your Template: Once the Waitlist, Class and/or Service Booking Reminder and Follow up template is created, navigate to your master list (Manage Locations > 3 dots next to the studio).
NOTE: The Template Type needs to be Class Reminder and Follow up. It cannot be set as a campaign or conversation.
2. Make "Default": Select the 3 dots > Make Default > the group you wish to default to. Click Ok to save your changes.
A flag and who the template is defaulting to will show up next to the template name. This is the indicator that the messages are automatically generating and being sent out.
3. I acknowledge that this is a Non-Marketing Template: To ensure your reminders are sent at any time of the day, make sure the template has been enabled with this option.
Select the 3 dots > Edit Information.
Scroll towards the bottom of the page to view the checkbox for I acknowledge that this is a Non-Marketing Template.
Click Update to save your changes.
