Discover how to manage your templates within Connect with this comprehensive guide, which includes both video tutorial and written instructions.
Please Note:
- At present, the system does not offer functionality for rearranging templates.
- Prior to adding your message to 'Message Detail,' first select the appropriate message type using the 'Select Message Type' filter to prevent any loss of information.
- If a template (you created) is no longer needed, you can archive by going into Manage Templates, select the “...” to the right of the desired template, and select 'Archive'. There are system reserved templates, so if the archive button is not available, then you will note be able to archive.
You have the option to create as many master templates as you need for Campaigns, Conversations, Reminder & Follow-up, and Waitlist messages types.
1. Navigate to Connect > Manage Templates.
2. Make sure from this view you are under Manage Locations. You want to ensure all your templates are setup correctly in the right studio. Select the “...” next to the location information > Manage Templates.
3. This view will now display your master template list. Select the add icon located next to the search bar to create a brand new template.
4. Generate a template name, select the status, “active” or “inactive.”
- Active = the template is usable for messaging
- Inactive = the template is unusable for messaging
5. Select the message type:
Pro Tip: 'Select Message Type' before moving on to 'Message Detail' or risk losing your message.
- Campaign templates - will be generated as an option when creating a campaign
- Conversations - will be generated as an option when sending one-on-one messages

6. Create your message in the message detail field > select Add to save your new master template.
