This article explains how to manage messages received from unknown numbers, meaning phone numbers that are not associated with an existing profile in your ClubReady site. This functionality is also available when using the ClubReady Connect mobile app.
The article also covers how to block an unknown number and how to reinstate the number if messaging should resume.
1. Access Conversation from the Unknown Number: Navigate to Connect > Conversations > select the message.
2. Create User Profile: On the right panel, you will be able to add their First Name, Last Name and Email address. Click Save & Sync with ClubReady to update your changes.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Once you save, it will do a one time sync into ClubReady. No other edits made in Connect will sync back to ClubReady --- just first time saved data.
- The data that was inputted will then drop into you ClubReady Site (ie - John Smith, johnsmith@email.com, Prospect/New Lead is how it will transfer into CR)
- If any other changes need to be made to the new user information, it must be done in ClubReady for it to sync back into Connect.
How to Block an Unknown Number
1. Conversations: When an "Unknown Number" (use this option to block any unwanted contact) appears you will see them listed by their number, click the number to edit.
2. Report Spam & Block: Click the option to move the unknown number to your Spam & Block logs.
How to Reinstate (Unblock) a Number
1. Spam & Block logs: Navigate to the Conversations folder > 3 dots > Spam & Block logs.
2. Unblock Number: Select the 3 dots for the number you wish to block or reinstate.
